Considering Reseller Questions

I am considering gettin the Aluminum acct. A few questions I need answered.

Can we do our own graphic?

Can 2 people be the admin?

Approx how many sites can we have if we limit the bandwidth/disk space to 300mb per site?

Can we do our own templates?

1) Not sure what you mean, exactly. What graphic(s)?

2) You're free to give your account login details to anyone you feel you can trust. I'm the main Admin for a site here at HG (in addition to my own account), but it's owned by someone else who doesn't have the technical skills necessary to do the job himself. So, he gave me the login details and I do nearly all the maintenance for the site myself.

3) Do the math. Aluminum Plan HDD Space divided by 300MB = maximum number of accounts. (You're not allowed to oversell the space or bandwidth on a Reseller Account, IIRC.)

4) Not sure exactly what you mean on this one either, but yes you're free to make your own templates and offer them to your customers. (And I *THINK* HG has templates that you can offer to your customers, but am not certain of that. I'll let someone else answer that.)

We are wanting to a Craft DIY websites...so we would want Crafty Graphics that we make ourselves.

Also if our main domain name is hosted somewhere else....how does that work with a resellers acct.?

What are licenses?

I do not understand about the private and dedicated servers?

it's a bit difficult to follow your questions. perhaps you can be more specific if you have followup questions.

your hostgator resellers account is going to be connected to whatever domain(s) you host here. those hosted elsewhere are not going to be connected to your resellers account here.

license to what?

dedicated servers are for people who want or need an entire server to themselves, as opposed to sharing a server with other hosting accounts or reseller accounts.

you can make whatever graphics you want to place on whatever webpages you create for your account.

Don't forget there is a difference between registering a domain and hosting a domain. You can host domains at HG that are registered elsewhere; many people do.
