I am the founder/director of an arts organization. The E side of the organization offers hosting, email, template based sites, etc.to galleries, artists, and teachers. I currently host only 5 domains, but the new business plan will push that to at least 11 in the short term. A necessity of the art community is a consolidated robust events calendar. I gathered the information of 13 calendar systems and matched them with my requirements and those of the community and, by far, the Bedework calendar is the best that I've encountered. Is it possible that I'd be able to install it on a HostGator server via some method (SSH?)?
Here is the site of Bedework. http://www.bedework.org/bedework/ Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Will |

As you can see in this recent thread it is not possible to run JAVA, except on a dedicated server...
http://forums.hostgator.com/showthread.php?t=41276 You will need to find a Perl or PHP Calendar to be able to run it on a shared account. |
