Smile How complex is it to upgrade?

How complex of a process is it to upgrade from the Swamp to a WebHost account? Do you have to cancel one and move to the other?

How complex is WebHosting setup for separate sites? I took a look at the demo control panel.. wasn't sure about how everything works because there are no packages defined and I didn't see how that was set up, etc. And I wasn't sure how much a person would need to know about DNS, and MX entries.

I'd intend to host my own three accounts with separate cPanels, so wouldn't need to be heavy duty into the hosting.

Thanks!

I suppose you mean to upgrade to a reseller account?
No, you just go to http://www.hostgator.com/upgrade.php, jill in the info and HG staff will take care of everything.

You have to create the packages you need, but that's not difficult, and you only need to do some changes by yourself in the DNS Zone files if you want to use private nameservers.

Likely, you don't need WHM Autopilot then. That is the only tough thing about the reseller account. Using WHM you can create accounts and stuff, it is very simple.

I suspect you will need to spend a few minutes learning WHM and setting up packages for the accounts, but it will be better than having 3 accounts.
