[Closed] php sendmail seems to be disabled on hostgator

Hi.I just installed a php script.It is a topsites script.Members when they join they must receive a welcome message directly from the server(sendmail)
I noticed that this on hostgator does not happen.I checked all the settings of the installation and there was no mistake.
I think that the policy on hostgator is to not permit and to disable all php sendmail on their servers...
If it is like that this is the biggest disadvantage i have ever seen on the internet.
I think they should say this from the beginning so people to know before to sign up.
I think that a hostgator staff should answer to this and expain why My website cannot sent emails.May be i am wrong in something.

No welcome email when a new webmaster joins.Only on hostgator happens this as far i know.

Do you have disabled php sendmail on your servers or not?
