[Closed] Horde Address Book

Whenever I try to add an individual entry into Horde's address book I get the following message:
There was an error adding this object. Contact your system administrator for further help.

Whenever I try to import a text file it says that the file was imported successfully but then there are no entries.

Anyone able to successfully use Horde's addressbook?

Just a small update, Ive heard back from support. Its still not fixed. So apparently they are workin on it. Ill update you as soon as I get an update. If possible perhaps theres a way for us to fix it ourselves somehow.

My guess is, its something to do with SQL, if it stores the addresses in a DB. If not then Id guess its a file permissioning problem.

But thats just an educated guess. I could be wrong. 8)

Is the problem limited to Horde, or do you have the same issues with the other web mail clients?

No this happens only with Horde. If you add an entry using NeoMail or SquirrelMail it works just fine. So is a fix for this problem possible ?

Problem was fixed by the Gator Techies.

Well was fixed anyways:
DB Error: connect failed

[line 411 of /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/kronolith/lib/Driver/sql.php]

Details have been logged for the administrator.

I suspect one of two:

a.) My site was compromised
b.) Something else went wrong and I wasnt informed.

Why I suspect this ? Because all my MySql DBS seem to have gone POOF !

My current state = Very unhappy.
Ive sent an email to support... hopefully ill get an answer soon....

Well the DB was restored, and horde works... but i still get the following issue:

Notice: Undefined index: direct_access in /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/imp/templates/menu/menu.inc on line 53

Lets see how long this will take.

All has been fixed. Though what how or why it happened no one told me.
Would be nice to know though. :lol:

Glad it has been resolved. If anyone else has any issues with Horde, please submit aticket to support@hostgator.com and they should be able to fix you up.
