I just went into cPanel and was looking through the Fantastico stuff, and there's blue text in the right-hand box that says "This server is not licensed." I can read the descrptions of all the available programs, but it won't let me install them.

Please open a support ticket for this by sending an email to support@hostgator.com
Be sure to include your domain, user, and password in case the techs need to log in to your account. Thanks |

I still see the "This server is not licensed yet." text after I click on Fantastico, and yes, there's a ticket for it as well. I don't think anything has been done in almost two days now.

Ok, we are currently awaiting a response from Fantastico and expect such in the next day or so, so I thank you in advance for your patience. I will be sure to update this thread as soon as I have more info.

From what I have heard, fantasico are moving thier servers so that the hostgator servers that connect to them are not responding cause they are moving the servers and so it will come up as not licensed.
It should be fixed hopefully sometime soon, but yeah it seems to have been a while. Shane |

This is part of the email I got, I hope it helps somewhat.
Some of you may of noticed Fantastico has a license problem at the moment. This will be fixed soon, at current the master file server that runs Fantastico at www.cpanelthemes.com is moving servers which is causing the license to not function. Please bare with us while they correct their server move. |
