Greeting everyone:
I have several addon client account created, however the domains have not been populated as of this time. How can a forwarding email be created at this point so when the domains get registered the email is ready? I would appreciate detailed example. Thanks, have a good one... The Peddler |

peddler, I am not sure I understand your question.
You have created a few new accounts via WHM, and are waiting for the DNS changes to fully propagate? Is this right? Now you want to know how to set up email forwarding so that when the DNS resolves, everything will be working? Ok, if that is right, all you need to do is go into your Cpanel for the domain and set up the desired email accounts along with the proper forwarders. If you need help with this, I can help, but you can find detailed info in the Cpanel documentation. Please review the documentation, and if you require additional help, just let me know. http://www.cpanel.net/docs/cp/index.html |

Thank you for the response.
The problem is when http://myresellername.com:2080 is entered as shown in the help, all I receive is the no found page screen. |

Which help file told you to use port 2080? If you are trying to access webmail, the correct port is 2095, so you would use:
http://yoursite.com:2095 or www.yoursite.com/webmail Does this help? |

I still have not idea how to access or display the control panel for an client account that has been created by panel WHM where the the domain name has not yet been registered. Sorry I aparently am not making myself clear. I whould like to know how to do this for future reference. |

While waiting for nameserver changes to resolve, you can view pages via the browser by going to:
http://X.X.X.X.X/~username/ To access Cpanel, you would use: http://X.X.X.X/cpanel OR http://X.X.X.X:2082 You would replace X.X.X.X with your IP address, and replace username with the username you assigned to the account when you created it. Hope this helps. -Justin |
