Post How to clear tmp files?

Hello,

How i can clear tmp / folder files on cPanel they used allot of space.

Have you tried deleting them?

No before i start deleting them i want to ask that it will not create a problem?

A trick I used to use a lot would be to create a subfolder called holding. I would then move the contents, or what I wanted, to the holding folder. If things still ran well, say a week later, then I would delete the contents of the holding folder.

At the same time, there's nothing like having a backup sitting on your local computer, just in case.

I am posting a little late in this thread. I am new to VPS and I don't know if this should be a problem later or not. Can anyone share, how to go and delete this tmp folder and how to go about it?
