Class C Ip address and seo hosting advantage

Hi all. I search this forums and cant find extactly what i looking for.

i heard that hostgator is offering class C ip address. Its an added advantage to seo point of view.

question is:
1. what is the price for the class c ip
2. where to get it.
if its in good price.. i know a few friend that like to use these.

It seems like it's a really specialized thing... GatorJay was saying they only found one other company doing it. They still promote it as having the backing of HG...

i only hope the price could go down little bit more.
The pricing now is same as having few hosting account across few hoster.

Hey Charles, actually compared to the price of c-class hosting you can find anywhere on the web. We are almost 3 times cheaper than the top ones in google. Some of them we are up to 10 times cheaper than. Specifically when you get into the higher c-class plans, some sites are charging upwards of 1000-2000 dollars for 50+ c-classes.

But also be sure to know, c-class is really not made for normal reselling. sure you can resell it as an "addon" or different package. But you would not want to treat it like a reseller account because it would be much more expensive. It would be better to find out which clients need it and then move them to it manually for extra cost.

Agreed...

Overall, C-class is a pretty specialized service for the SEO crowd. That being said, SEO is a growth market so you're likely to see both an increase in supply as well as a corresponding softening in price as time goes bye.

A few questions you might ask if you are into SEO

It would be really interesting to know:
1. Which C-net's we are buying
2. How are they registered with RIPE/ARIN
3. are all "24's in series and being publicly owned by the same company.

The sales people can't answer any of those, only reply from them:
"For what reason do you need this information?"
