Chrysler MySQL Problems

I have been getting more and more frequent MySQL errors when accessing my sites. Has anybody else seen this issue?

Support responds "As I told you in my previsous response you will get that error message if mysql service on server is stoped and we will just need to restart the service again." - Christine.

That is not acceptable to me. I'd like to know what's causing it, because as far as I can tell, it's happening with more frequency.

I'm on gator 8 and am getting the same problem and the same response. I've made a post in here about it last weekend, but no one from hostgator replied, and all I got from putting in support tickets was that my site is fine now and when it goes down to contact them. I don't find that a satisfactory resolution...

If they're working on it, I just wish they'd explain to me!

I too had the same response regarding the same issue on the Mustang server. To be fair I have had no issues since so I am not complaining but we do have forums on that account so I agree it could be a problem.

That being said the MySQL server appears to be down on Mustang too! I have to be honest that these kind of problems seem to be pretty regular.

Knock on wood, I'm on Chrysler and haven't noticed any MySQL problems. I run a CMS that utilizes MySQL to run, and am all over my site regularly through the day, and fortunately haven't seen any issues...in case that helps...

I hope you get it fixed, and it doesn't become a Chrsyler or HG wide problem
