Got error trying to send mail, only sent a handful of emails in the last hour or so, but still got this error using OE, and I'm the only one logged into this server (my mail server within the main server anyway, you know what I mean) right now:
************* An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'me@mydomain.com', Server: 'mail.mydomain.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421 Too many concurrent SMTP connections; please try again later.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67 ************* Any ideas????? spoke to Ben, said that 'outgoing authentication' should be checked in my mail client, which was never set up, I don't personally recall receiving any instruction regarding that anywhere in the support docs when I originally set up the mail accounts, and they've worked fine all this time...
but none the less, the first test after changing this setting under 'Outgoing Mail Server' to 'my server requires authentication' and putting the settings to 'use same settings as incoming mail server' seemed to work.... so, wanted to post in case anyone else suddenly had problems too, since I had not had this problem for months previously, figured maybe something changed that would affect other users too... karz |

Now if they would only fix that BIG hole on my server.
Just tested again, with it off, went right through. Wondering why server has load, maybe???? |
