Default Check out my site, give me feedback

I would like any feeback on my site.

http://www.cjnoyeshosting.com

I welcome links from other non-hosting providers as well.

if you go to the links page and click on add link.

I am thinking when I have a bit more time, rethink the design of the site, but this is what is like now. It's based on one of gator's templates.

I think it looks good, however on the 'About Us' page at the end of your first two paragraphs there are no periods.

Check out my site and see what I did with the same template:

I like what you did with it, the choice of color using the red is interesting.

I am a similar situation. In addition to my paid work, I have another business, my astrology software business. I see this as an additional stream of income.

It was very much a guestimate. You need to look at how many of a given size you can host, figure out what that revenue would have, figure out what your margin is, add your other costs to the cost, figure out what your final profit margin is. I started, setting a price for my top one and worked down, trying to differentiate between my offerings. I suspect in the long run, I will be aiming more to sell the higher end plans, but the cheaper ones give me some margin.

The thing about databases is that every one of the fantastico things likes it's own database. I doubt people will really use 50, more like 10 or 15 at maximum. I doubt many people will use all the capacity. One problem is the way other companies market, offer far more than the customer will use, bargaining that the user will use far less than they actually use.

The thing about database connections, one will be connected to a database for less than a second most of the time.

The 25 connection limit means in effect that at any given moment, there may only be 25 php scripts being run that use any database at the same time.

you could run into the limit using 1 database If a site gets hit with a high number of requests at any given moment, because even persistent connections the way servers operate, can't be shared between requests.

Some good points thanks.

I have been upgrading my lower end plans a bit, I was trying to keep incentive to move up, but I think I was keeping them too small at the low end, I thought I uploaded the webhosting page with the new plan changes, but I will get that straightened out.

The issues with the design moving the content down out of site is something that I need to deal with, I was aware of it, but you make a good point about it not grabbing attention

The small sizes also, need work,

thanks.

Looking good!

A couple of nits:

1. Once a visitor enters your Cerberus support, there's no link to get back to your main site. Same with the forums.
2. really trivial, but if you leave the whois query blank and hit 'submit' you get an error.

Dear Friend,

Your site still needs to go through some developments. Just keep working on it before long, it will be a very good one.

You have to use some good colors to make the site effective.

CJ,
I like your new design, however I think it might look better if you had more spacing between the plans on the homepage.

Mike,
I think that was the first 404 page that I was actually interested in! I sat there and read it... lol.
