Changing the Primary Domain
I just bought a domain at godaddy a few minutes ago, and I was wondering can I change my current primary domain into the one I bought at godaddy. Or do I have to point the DNS to HostGator first, then change the domain?

Hi Kishion,
Yes you can change you main domain name for $5. You can use this link on hostgator website to change your main domain on your account: https://secure.hostgator.com/changedomain.php If you have addon domain, they will no longer work after you have change your main domain. You should change your DNS as soon as you wish to make or plan to change your domain name for no downtime. Best regards,
