Changing Name Servers~

Hello all, hopefully you can spread some light on this subject for me!

I was told it would take 24-48 hours for the changes to take effect when I registerd for hosting and changed the name servers and it has been 48 hours since I requested the change.

When I go to my domain I just get a page cannot be displayed error, does it take longer than 48 hours in some cases?

Also, when I try to login to ipadress/cpanel with the username and password it wont login at all... Does this not work until the domain is working with the new name servers or is this an error?

Sounds to me like the account isnt set up or you have gotten wrong information.

If the account were setup, it is usually accessible by using IP/cpanel and then it would only take about 48 hrs (usually within half hour for all of my domains) to propagate completely.

I would double check to make sure the account is set up, the nameservers are pointing correctly, and that you have the correct information for the account. Make sure you havent messed up the IP address (typo's) when you typed it in too.

That should work, before (and after) the DNS change is fully propagated.
