Default changing main site

Hi,
If, because of time constraints, I use site studio or site builder, to make my first website, to get it published asap.
Can I then eventually totally replace that site with one I have built myself using nvu?
I am sorry if this is confusing, can I do that using the same main domain name? ie. delete the first site eventually to replace it with the newly made one(nvu).
I would it really appreciate it if some-one could help me with this. Thank-you

Yes, you can just replace the files in your public_html folder with the ones you have created in NVu to change your site.

Hey Sandranz, you don't need to post in pre-sales anymore!

I'm sorry I was unclear when we put you onto nvu. That's an excellent course you've chosen, because your site builder pages will be up while you figure nvu out.

Look at nvu or any of the other editors (not online sitebuilders) as being like Word...you can edit pages created in one with any of the others.

Your hosting account would be like a brochure rack, filled at first with ready-made brochures (i.e., sitebuilder) that you can't edit or change. But, whenever you want, you can dump those brochures out and replace them with your new ones. And, with the editors, you can work on another version of that new brochure while people are still reading the brochures in the rack.

I think I am going to check out NVU too...

Since switching back and forth is fairly simple.
