re the attacks on servers, this is not fantastico specific, i have an auction script that has been taken down by this, websitewelcome. Hostgator is failing to respond to questions via the ticket system. I appreciate they are probably rather busy regarding this problem, but customers deserve to be kept informed, not fobbed off.

If the number of posts are any indication, they are busy. It is likely they would not respond unless they had something to say. If they didn't know what caused the problem, they likely wouldn't respond until they did. Don't take a lack of response to me that they aren't working the problem.
