Can't install wordpress

I followed and did all the steps correctly and as soon as I install it and get my admin account, I try to login but i get
Internal Server Error.

anyone?

The fact that you are getting an immediate error page suggests that at least one step was not done correctly.

What happens when you try to look at the non-admin page?

Are you installing through cPanel's Fantastico or on your own, from scratch?

And are you installing into your html_public directory or a subdirectory?

Its proably your premissions, did you CHMOD anyting 777 or 755, or do you have any php settings in an htaccess?
