im sorry but this is the only place to take this up at
http://flaashy.com is a website hosted by you guys and i cant get on to it but my friend can. now it doesn't give me a 404 error or any other error it just talks about the datacenter blowing up and they will be up soon but my friend doesn't get that. I thought maybe my flash player is out of date because there is flash on the site and i got the latest version I just downloaded it. I tried different browsers even firefox which u guys recommend and ive tried jumping to a page in the site and i get a 404 error. here is a screenshot of what i see when i go to the site. http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/7822/flaashylh4.gif ![]() thanks in advance this is really starting to anger me. |

Clear out your cache / tem internet files / cookies etc. and then re-boot your PC
After that try loading the web site again.

I am seeing your site fine. If you run ping FLAASHY.COM from a DOS prompt what address is it returning? Is this your site or someone else's? This is a peer support forum and we do not have access to the servers to determine what might be wrong. From what you have described I would guess that the server was moved from the datacenter that had a fire and the IP changed. Your ISP may be caching the old address. You can try running ipconfig /flushdns from a DOS prompt or turning off your cable or DSL modem and then restarting.

rick is right-many times you'll get a display of older content because your isp is caching. normally, a little time will resolve this, and do make sure you've cleared your own cache. (rebooting isn't actually necessary, although closing your browser instance and reopening is.)

![]() Try changing your DNS settings to use openDNS instead of your ISP's DNS. Check www.openDNS.com for info.

Your ISP is likely traffic shaping and/or mangling packets to get around people who use the internet for, shall we say, *other* uses. I would say that you make sure you're not firewalled at your end, and then if all else fails just run a 'tracert flaashy.com' in a windows command prompt and post it here or in the ticket system to see where you die out.

This happened to me a few times until I figured the ISP was "cheating" by saving some bandwidth. In my case I contacted them and all solved out. You may want to try the same.http://punctdigital.ro/stat1.jpg

goscript: If you are not going to fix your image in your posts, could you please just remove them? Obviously you are not getting what you are trying to do and since the image doesnt show up, its really annoying.
Many people are going to think you are using hidden images, which is against ToS. |
