Can't find my site

Singned up 9/04, had my dns chaged to hostgator specs as specified. Now is 14/04 and stiil get 'unable to find site' when I type in my domain name in the search window. My AIMhostgator helpmate says she finds the site on her computer, so it must be something on my end. Went through some things she suggested, still no good. So, I contacted three other friends and had them try; they had the same negative result, so evidently it is not on my end. I need to get going. Can anybody at hostgator get to the bottom of this. thanx,H.

Have you tried looking up your whois information since then?

Make sure you entered the correct information for your domain--you can check your whois at a variety of places, http://www.netsol.com or htttp://www.dotster.com to name a few.

I believe ISPs reference different servers which direct them to the proper site when you type in a domain name, which means some might see it and others might not.

I know for my site, it took about 50 hours before I could access it from my home, though I was able to access it from my work computer after about 30 hours.

I had a number of people check your site and no one else had a problem accessing your site. You might try contacting your ISP to see if there's any possible way they could be blocking it. I know how frustrating this must be for you, but it is not a problem on our end and DNS HAS propogated, so I don't know what else to do for you, I'm sorry. It certainly couldn't hurt to contact your ISP
