Purchased the Baby Gator on 9/4 and it is now 9/6 their auto mail said it takes 20 minutes to setup. This is the third day and host gator will not even answer their phone. I have clients all over me and host gator won't even acknowledge... Terrible!!!

A.) Who has weeks to wait for an account to get open. No one has time for mail to be received. Your e-mail said 20 minutes, it has been 4 days. Some of us have deadlines to meet, clients who expect things get done.
B.) What fool would actually send vital personal information to sit around on a desk or passed around an office to be easily use to loot financial accounts. Non of the information is needed to open an account. A passport! You must be joking. Sounds like a con to me. I wasn't born yesterday; I know how ID theft works. I expect to receive proof that my personal and credit card information has be fully purged from your system(s). |

We're currently undergoing the aftermath of a Hurricane that hit Houston and is about the same damage or more than Katrina. Please understand almost 2 million customers in Houston have *NO POWER*. We are working actively out of remote makeshift offices and are working our hardest but we are unable to receive calls and are making outbound verification calls that are still in the US via land lines and personal cell phones. We just tried calling you to avoid sending in documentation and there was no answer and the mailbox was full. We are trying to work with you on this, not come up with excuses.
Please read our Terms of Service that you agreed to when ordering this account that says that we screen new orders: http://www.hostgator.com/tos.shtml Therefore, this is not false advertising at all. If you cannot provide us with a correct phone number for this order, we will not be able to verify this and will need to close your account. The initial charge was refunded when your account was put on hold.

As Wesley said, your initial charge was voided and refunded. Our standard procedure is to void and refund a charge for an account that has not been verified. This is what was done on your account.
As per your request, we have gone ahead and cleared your credit card information from our billing. We also disabled your account in our billing system. I apologize about the inconveniences. Verification of accounts is something we have to do to protect not only ourselves, but our existing and potential customers.
