Any idea if Hostgator matches the system requirements of the following:
AutoResponse Plus System REquirements =============================== will run on web sites hosted on most Linux servers. A quick email to your host's support desk will usually confirm if their service is compatible. A web site hosted on a web server running UNIX or Linux (not Windows) MySQL (at least 3.23.39) Perl 5.005 or greater with your own CGI-BIN FTP access for installing and configuring the software Sendmail, Qmail or Exim on your server (Exim and Qmail are much faster than Sendmail) Ability to create and run cron tasks in your domain Access to the MySQLDump and MySQL utility programs for backing up and restoring data PHP4 (this is used only for message open-rate tracking) Our tests have shown that servers based on the Plesk system are not compatible with AutoResponse Plus. Kayako System Requirements ======================== Basic Minimum Requirements: UNIX/Linux/FreeBSD/Solaris/Windows Apache, IIS or any web server that supports PHP PHP 4.1.0 or higher mySQL 3.23 or higher Zend Optimizer 2.1.0 or higher (Download) For Email to Helpdesk feature on Linux: MTA like Sendmail/Qmail etc PHP as CGI with Zend Optimizer For Email to Helpdesk feature on Windows: Task Scheduler to run pop3 fetching routines Thank you |

Both of those applications will work fine on our servers. While we do not offer direct access to MySQLDump, you are able to backup your db in other ways.
