Default Can I shut off this or block it?
It seems like Firefox is continually busy with the HG Forum

Whay does this transfer continually run? How can I block it?

Get Adblock Plus and block it.

spyware: computer software that obtains information from a user's computer without the user's knowledge or consent.

Presumably the chat was down for a while. Just hit the "stop loading" button, no need to block anything.

Stop loading never stopped it for me.
It was weird, but hopefully it behaves now.
I've no desire to chat to HG anyway. Email is lightning fast and
