Hi,
I am evaluating several hosting options for my needs and currently HG seems to come out at the top, primarily because of good uptime reports and the option for monthly billing. I have one question, however: Can I use ssh to manually install perl modules to a local directory within my account? I know I can ask HG support to to that for me, but for a number of reasons I would be much more comfortable doing this by myself (I may need a larger number of modules, e.g. the whole CGI::App stack, or I may need updated versions of already installed modules). Thanks in advance! |

You can upload your own perl scripts through SSH but for the modules you would need to get one of the admins to do it for you.
