can hostgator move all the scripts an database for me ?

Dear hostgator team,
Sorry for my bad english.

Now, i decide to use hostgator's package for my site. But, i have not much knowledges in backing up an restoring database (backup forum my recent host to hostgator's host). Can hostgator team help me ?

If your previous host used cpanel then you can contact hostgator and they shoudl be able to move everything over. But that is only if your pervious host used Cpanel also.

To transfer your site you'll have to provide your account info from your current host.
