This is the third month in a row that I have lost services for an extended period of time. Is there something inherently wrong with Cadillac? The 99% uptime guarentee is good for marketing, it is one of the factors that helped me choose HostGator for hosting my reseller account. However, these outages, with no mention of cause or status is annoying. I find out there is an issue by receiving calls from customers. Once it is up I do not even get a note from HostGator that it was out, or why, or what is being done to eliminate it from occuring the next month.
Anyone else getting these issues? How ave you been dealing with it? It is inherent to Cadillac? thank you.

I'm on Cadillac too. All of my sites have been up and down since early this morning. Right now they're up, but MySQL isn't.
Some sort of info from Hostgator would be helpful when I get calls from clients. |

There was an attack going on that has been completely blocked you shouldn't have any more issues.

Seems maybe a little better screening process is in order on who signs up for it? Now looks like spam assasin is not working, getting flooded with spam, will try & reset the configuration? Also just noticed on server status, "bind (9.2.1) failed"??? Last edited by TeeJa; 12-30-2004 at 05:16 PM. |
