I notice that the email services are failed as reported in WHM service status page.

Anyone have an update they might have received from their trouble-ticket.

Trying to avoid opening a ticket for a sever wide problem

Corvette email seems to have gone the way of the wind too. I "think" i'm receiving but not able to send. I'm seeing an error 421, unexpected server failure.

I began getting voicemails at 10am that the POP service was failing and that webmail was still working. A workaround, but an unaccepted answer from my customers. I have not seen HostGator post a note as to expected duration, cause, remedial action... I did get a response to an email to the support desk at noon, but no update since (it is now midnight).
