Exclamation Bring Back Ability To Report Forum Posts

As title... Bring back the ability to report forum posts.

Why was it removed in the first place?

How are we now able to alert you to forum spam or other objectionable content?

I suspect it was removed because no one was actually doing anything about the reports. I often had the feeling that reporting a post made no difference whatsoever.

Quick, off the top of your head - who's actually moderating in this forum?

I agree that it is needed. While slow to delete the posts at times someone did eventually did remove most of the spam posts after they were reported. Since the report option was removed it seems that there have been more spam posts just sticking around. It would be nice to know who is the primary person in charge of moderation so that we could at least PM that person should there be a major problem.

Count me in. I use the "email this thread" option and send a message to support. They usually do a reasonable job, but the 2 I reported last month (Nov 26) are still there. I was wondering if there was a better mailbox at hostgator to send this kind of notice to.

Good Afternoon,

I just wanted to confirm the reporting function is back and working again properly at this time. From this point forward the spam concern should definitely improve, though we do apologize for the troubles this may have caused the last few weeks.

If anyone should notice any issues with reporting please let me know!

Best Regards,
