I joined hostgator on Friday morning as I was getting a lot of downtime with my last host, this company was recommended to me.
Paid my $25 monthly fee, filled in a transfer site form and have had nothing but problems. I have spoke to support on 30 occassions, who have not been a great deal of help. It has taken over 48 hours to transfer 14 sites over. Now that they are finally transffered, I can not view them in my whm panel, and have been told by help desk chat to contact admin. PLEASE - Somebody tell me it will get better. Yes its early days for me, but I am far from impressed so far |

Monday morning and things finally seem to of been sorted out, I have received an apology for the length or time things have taken, so maybe hostgator are not such a bad company after all.
At the end of the day, my own customers are my main concern, so maybe I was just a little bit quick to have a rant and rave. Things are all nicely sorted, and it will be good to see how things go

I fully understand that support can get very busy at times and I admit I was a little impatient due to the fact that my customers had downtime, but at the end of the day Hostgator where very polite, gave an apology for the time things had taken, and got me up and running again, so I am now very happy Thank you once again
