Apparently one of my wifes friends was trying to access her site which is a pixel-tag site(all i know its lil animated thingies xD) and apparently her friends ISP has declared my wifes G-Rated Site Pornography based on this:

Reason: Weighted phrase limit of 160 : 210 ((bondage, ****)+(hardcore, ****)+(incest, ****)+(naked, ****)+(panty, ****)+-advice+-health+-hospital+-main+****+bondage+hentai+incest+members only+naked+transsexual+vagina+voyeur+banned)

Catagories: Pornography

and the ip address that was in the message her friend sent was not our Hostgator IP but the Persons ISP IP these terms aren't in any of her meta codes, she uses mainly wordpress... anyone have any ideas?

Yeah--the site was probably hacked. This has been a big problem with WordPress. There are probably some nasty stuff in one of your directories. Do a search for the domain in google. It may give you a clue where the malicious files reside. They seem to be targeting directories within wp-content. Log in with your FTP and root around.

Contact abuse@hostgator.com. You should probably delete all the files and reinstall wordpress. You also should change the cookies for the site. You MUST keep WordPress up-to-date--and sometimes even that is not good enough!

I wouldn't assume it hasn't been hacked. Contact abuse and root through your WordPress directories via ftp (especially directories within wp-content). There is no harm in doing so.

WordPress has been a big target and many versions are very vulnerable. Even if you upgraded, if it was placed before the upgrade, it may well remain--as has been the experience of many, many WordPress users.

What version of WP are you using?

it's kind of hard to give too many ideas without looking at the site. to start with, i would be asking questions, however, about what the friend's isp is running that provides that kind of block. then you can work backwards from the error to get options on what could be causing it.

2.5 is vulnerable. You need to update 2.5.1.

If you do not keep up with the WordPress Upgrades, you wearing a great big bullseye for hackers.

The content of the site does not matter. They throw the files into a directory, often with a little javascript app. You often will not see the offending material by visiting the site.

It is highly unlikely you will find the offending material in the metatags. Again, you may not see anything by clicking through the site, but bots will pick it up. Then the bots determine the content of your site based upon the files and content that they find. A clever hacker will hide his work from the user so that it can reside on a site for a long time before it is ever found.

i googled your error message (because there's no way to figure out how to unblock the site without knowing WHAT is blockign the site now...)

it appears it's a netguardian error message.

abuse found some lurking files all across my account, also at abuse's request i emailed the originating ISP to fine out the 5 W's And the how on this issue. still waiting to hear back on from that small town ISP from Indiana

Glad you contacted abuse!

You should upgrade any out of date versions of WordPress using the extended procedure. Check the contents of wp-content carefully and consider deleting and reinstalling all your themes and plug-ins. If up to date versions were exploited consider reinstalling.

Change your passwords! Keep WordPress updated.
