Best experience I have ever had period!

I used to host with Yahoo. I was paying 12.95/mo per site and I had 4 websites. I wanted more advanced scripts like wordpress, guestbooks, and other usefull stuff. I also wanted to use PHP and CSS. Yahoo didn't seem to support all of this (just css) and I had to find another solution.

I did a lot of research and found that I wanted to find somewhere to host multiple sites. I was also in the process of starting a very small web design company. I had my first contract for a kung fu website ready to go and literally the same day I found HostGator's Reseller package. I knew I wanted Cpanel since it has all the features I could ever ask for. With the awesome reviews I read about HostGator along with the Reseller package I figured I could not go wrong. I signed up in September 2005 with my domain websitesbykevin.net.

I have had some issues but nothing major and all issues were usually because I messed something up or another user on the server messed something up. Today there was an email issue for example but it got fixed and I didn't lose any emails. They were very responsive and quick to fix any and all issues.

Back about 6 months ago HostGator announced that they were upgrading all the hosting packages. At first I was concerned because I thought if they upgraded everyone at the same time without making room on the servers then it would cause a lot of problems. I'm glad the right decision was made to only make the plans available to new users while over time upgrade the existing users as time and resources allow. I don't know why people have to complain about it. What would they do if HG never upgraded the plan limits? They would just upgrade right? Exactly! So I don't know why people were making a big issue about it. My server never got upgraded (lightning server). My account got full and I found I didn't have anymore space available so instead of waiting for HG to upgrade my server I just decided to open a new account in January. I actually had 2 accounts up until last week (about 4 months) which didn't bother me. I just decided to combine them and over a few weeks time transferred accounts to the new better server (lebaron). I had several discussions with HG about when my server would get upgraded - no big deal. I'm just greatfull they were planning on doing it. I just had to can the first account because I didn't feel like paying for 2 anymore..lol

I also recently installed WHM Autopilot and what a great program!!! I am making money in my sleep now and I don't have to constantly check for orders on my email and manually install them anymore. HG was awesome responding to my support tickets when I had a few minor (self induced) issues with the installation.

I have a background in Computers. I used to be a sales rep with Dell in Nashville, TN. I worked there for about 4 years and I really knew my stuff. I believe HG is still using Dell in the data centers... Is this true guys? I think this is why HG is very reliable.

Its the ultimate business plan. Put the number 1 computer server in the world along with the number 1 (in my book) web host and you can't go wrong!

I also read that HG is going to offer VOIP technology in the near future with reselling ablilty????
