hi

i have web site and i want order the Basic (best deal) (Dedicated)
and i have some question to ask befor move her
1) i want bay for 6 month that mean i well get 2 monthe free with each
month that will be 12 monthe free right or no
2) about protection my web will be secure againest any hacker attak
or i must provide protection to my own web (becuse i dont have enoghe experince to deal withe Dedicated server
3) i have upload & dowenload center and fourms etc... on my web dos the HG CAN GARANTE
my web will not shut down

You will have to look after this yourself. The best way it to get a third party to look after it. Many of us use configserver.com

It will only be shut down if you violate the terms of service. http://www.hostgator.com/tos.shtml

It's up to you to monitor the box and make sure everything is running smoothly. If not, then you contact support and they fix it.

I suspect that if you attempt to do any coding, your website will crash as the result of sever typos, YMMV.

1) Buy 6 months, get 2 free.
2) Its a server, its setup and managed. Its basically secure against hackers on the system level, must hackers get in though the website, which HG does not control, you do.
3) No, there is no guarantee. Basically, on the dedicated, they will fix it if it breaks, that is the only guarantee for a managed server.

and item 3, make sure there is not copyrighted issue kind of thing. not warez or torrent. although sometime hard to differentiate, its good if you contact sales and provide your current URL for reference.

im sorry but on dedicated servers i see
Every Linux server comes with the latest cPanel / WHM control panel and free Fantastico

that mean i can have cpanel 11 right or no

and abuot securtiy if i install modsecurity from www.modsecurity.org

dose that will protict my site or i need to use onther way beside mod securty for more protiction


sorry but after my web been hacked several time by hacker
i close it antil i found secure server and learn how to secure it

Yes, you can have cPanel 11 and yes, it's recommended you use modsecurity. Serra has a great set of instructions for setting up a dedicated server you can check out in that forum. (He's smart and funny too )
