Basic question on upgrading plans.

I was wondering lets say I use the Aluminum plan, but want to update to lets say Silver later on. Will my sites that are hosted go down at all during that time? Also will all my current settings still be perfectly intact? Oh, and good work from what I can tell you guys do you wonderful job here!

No, you would not experience any downtime when upgrading plans. You would just have additional resources allocated to you. Of course, you typically would only upgrade one level at a time because you don't want to pay for something that that you aren't currently using.
