It's more of a confirmation that a question really. On the front page http://www.hostgator.com/ it lists the King Croc plan as having "100 GB Transfer". Then on the plans page http://www.hostgator.com/shared.html it lists "bandwidth 100 gb". I just want to confirm whether the King Croc plan has 100 GigaBytes of Monthly Data Transfer or 100 gigabits of bandwidth.
My site (www.squidi.net) is currently consuming 60GB of transfer a month and 200 kb/s of bandwidth. But I expect it to grow pretty fast (last month it was 2GB and 20kb/s) I know someone already asked if the site could stay up if it went over the transfer limit and just be charged the next month, and got a "no". What I want to know is, if that happens on a weekend, do you have billing support 24/7. My current host has tech support, but when my site went over it's transfer limit, I had to wait until Monday for the site to come back up. |

it's 100gb a month
When you reach that your site will be suspended. It does warn you when you're close. IF your site is growing that fast, and is as big as it is now. I strongly reccomend a dedicated server. You could get even one of our smaller ones it wouldn't be that much more $$ and would come with 500 gigs bandwidth a month. It sounds like you will def be needing more then 100 gigs. you should get a dedicated server now before it's to late and your site shutdown again. Let us know..
