I starting thinking backups today. Files as well as DB. So I went into cpanel to check out my handy dandy backup control thingie ma-bober... it's disabled. Then, I noticed in the Package details (http://www.hostgator.com/shared.html), a note about Daily backups. Hows all that work? Backup and restoration? And, is there an efficient way for me to do my own backups to my local computer? Just in case DC explodes or something. I might like to do this once a month or something.

I asked basically the same question here:
http://forum.hostgator.com/viewtopic.php?t=357 I haven't solved the issue yet. Can you please ask support and let us all know the response? I should point out that my manual backup optin works OK. Very strange yours is disabled...... |
