Quick question about your dedicated servers, are they regularly backed up and, if not, is that available as an additional option?

I assume that the one servlet (JSP) limit is just the default and that I can run several servlets off the one box?

Many thanks,

Derek

yes, i have that question two.

in your plans section, it says that there are daily backups.

yet, when i veiw your TOS it says your not responsible for them.

also, a while back there, a siet hosted by you guys, manicszone, was nuked out by one of yuor servers. now, assuming u make daily backups, and the site lost everything, do you make those nackups on the same harddrives or what?

We have a raid5 drive in all our boxes. (raid is instant backup) The problem with raid is it only really protects you against a hard drive failure. If your site ever gets hacked / deleted you have no backup since the mirrored drive would lose it the same time.

We also have a weekly offsite backup that will be implemented into the remaining servers missing it this week.

We do backups but we would be crazy to take responsibility for them. That's asking for a lawsuit.

Our jsp is being switched to the 5x series in a week which will allow you to control your own environment.

These weekly backups is on all servers, also reseller?
In that case, could we ask for restores if really needed (without any promise from your side - cfr. lawsuit )? Or are these backups only used by you in case of system disaster?

I though you had stated somewhere else, and in your terms or plans, that it was a different raid. So, which one is it?

Dude just go into your cPanel, make a backup of your site, and download.

Insert "get cable or DSL" into that equation somewhere, too.
