Hi,
I'm a reseller with numerous sites on Aztek. Unfortunately, both email and web servers are not responding and are down. Cpanel login has been sproradic. Tech Support claims issue sent to Planet and 'waiting'. However, that was more than 2 hours ago and we still have no relief, ETA for resuming service, or any other updates. Server status shows an issue on /var, but that is all that shows. Please inform us what is going on so we can manage our resold clients and manage expectations appropriately. Any information about the specifics of the problem, what is happening with the issue, and ideally an ETA would be very welcome. Thank You in Advance. I am sorry to hear you are experiencing technical problems. Could you please post your ticket number so that a staff member could look into this issue if they read this thread? Thank you.

Aloha,
I've been back in touch with support. The ticket number is ELQ-410404. I couldn't post earlier as I missed it when initially generated and since email is not accessible I wasn't able to retreive the number there. I've since gotten it by logging into the ticket system and determined hostgator has the ticket but the support rep was able to successfully access the problematic domain from within hostgator, from an 'external location' and from a colleague in spain. So, this may be a local geographic or other routing issue local to my area or some other part of the internet but not all. Since I can get to the domains by using the ip address with a username, I am hesitatingly agreeing the problem is probably not at the hosting or email server level. However, for additional data pointsm I would like to hear if you are able to get to fatiguana.com or maui-web-designs.com or cjsmaui.com from your geographic location?? Thanks for any feedback, data samples or additional info. Phil |

Dear FatIguana,
You should change your contact email to be something out of your domain/account so you can receive ticket number and reply to it or use HG ticket interface on this website at http://support.hostgator.com/. For myself I use an hotmail account for my dedicated server and also for HG to contact me so if my server goes down, I can still receive hostgator email. Best Regards,
