Default Aztek Hardware Swap

Aztek will be going offline for about 15-20 minutes very shortly due to a degraded array on the server. The datacenter will be swapping the degraded hard drive with a new hard drive. Please note that there will be no data loss.

How is the new notification system coming? This is a perfect example of a situation where it would have been nice to notify customers BEFORE it happened. Now I can't because the server is down and they won't receive my email. I only saw this post once the server went down.

So now instead of sending out a quick email, I have to answer 20 phone calls!

Hi,

I do apologize for the inconvenience but this post was made 45 minutes before the server went offline. We will have the notification system available shortly and your server will be online very shortly as well.

I agree 100%

Our customers and your customers (the resellers) would much prefer to know before, rather than find out while it is happening.

A post on the forum 45 minutes before the event does not alert all users.

I agree. Aztec was bouncing on and offline last week. As of 12:02 CST, I'm still getting timeouts and partial page loads. This has got very annoying over the last couple of weeks. Especially when clients are ringing my phone off the hook with complaints about their site being down.

Apparantly, that is not true. HG has catagorically stated the uptime is in excess of 99.9% on Aztek for May, June and so far for July.

I have raised a support ticket asking for a refund under their guarantee, but they simply say NO. They stated that I would be unable to prove it as they don't accept ANY third party monitoring and therefore NO REFUND.

I have live chat transcripts, but they don't count for much either.

Its a total joke.

I'm paying $100 per month for the Diamond Plan and have been with them for over a year now. I was even about to get my own dedicated, but due to recent issues, I'm not too sure if that is the right way to go anymore.

When I joined the uptime was great, the problems were few and the support was great. What's gone wrong HG?

I must agree here, I'm having problems as well and it all started yesterday. I sent a ticket and they reply back 5 hours later telling me my server was up and here it is almost 24 hours exact and I'm still down along with three other websites I run.

So my same question is What's gone wrong HG?

I'm not one to complain, but when it comes to loosing money I have no choice.

Please let me know when my server is back up.

Thanks
George
