Default awstats - timezone query

Is there a way of setting up awstats to report in a local timezone. Is there a config file or something i need to change to get this into effect?

Regards,

Chris

The config file is /tmp/awstats/awstats.yourdomain.com.conf
Had a quick look, I don't think there is a relevant setting...

** Edit **
This won't work - the plugin is not available and according the info it's only for IIS...

This is what I found on the net (check FAQ-COM 300 at http://awstats.sourceforge.net/docs/awstats_faq.html):

(...) so another chance is to use the AWStats plugin 'timezone'. Warning, this plugin need the perl module Time::Local and it reduces seriously AWStats speed.
To enable the plugin, uncomment the following line in your config file.
LoadPlugin="timezone TZ", where TZ is value of your signed timezone (+2 for Paris, -8 for ...)
The required perl module is installed on the HG servers. You can try this, but it's not been tested.

Bye,
Stef.

I believe i tried the TZ plugin, but after re-running the stats the hourly load still seemed to be in the same spot (ie the hours hadn't shifted). I'll try and give this another go.

I just tried:
LoadPlugin="timezone +10"
LoadPlugin="timezone -10"

the footer of the page mentioned that the plugin was being used, but the times didnt change at all.

The plugin didn't work because it's only for IIS.

Anyway, I know it's an old post, did someone find a way to setup awstats to report in a local timezone ?

Thank you and have a great day.
Best Regards,

Hadoken

I might have found a possible workaround for the awstats timezone issue:
http://habumba.com/logtimezone-Filter_frames.html

I will ask HG support whether this logtimezone filter is available, if not whether they can install it. Because I don't think this filter is part of the default setup I expect that they need to install it. If they agree to install it I will give it a try and post my findings here.

No luck, Hostgator support just informed me that they are not able to install the logtimezone binary on a shared server.
