Awesome Support!

Ok today I came home and started up my laptop. I have been working the last few days to get my site set up, as I am a new customer. Well I worked at work off and on (my work has wireless internet) using my own personal laptop. I got home and tried to continue after work and could not see my sites. They would not load. I could get in to cPanel, and FTP via IP and domain name. BUT I could not load the actual website pages.

Very frustrating. So i called Host Gator Support.

First I talked to someone named Dave. He tried all he could and for a long time to help me. We couldn't get a solution. He gave me some tips and I called my ISP.

(Insert time here I took to call ISP)

I then made another call to Host Gator Support after talking to my ISP, which my ISP did not resolve anything either.

I then talked to someone named Ray. Just like Dave he was very kind, and did all he could to help me, and gave me some idea's as to why perhaps this was happening. Ray too was puzzled that I could get into my cPanel and FTP via IP and domain name, but not load the sites.

Although when I got off the phone with Ray my problem was not solved, but it was not due to lack of support.

Dave and Ray I thank you for your help, and if this is the kind of support I can expect from HG, then I think I made the right choice.

So yes, although the phone calls did not end with solving my situation (which is now solved, just waited and it worked after some 4-5hrs after I first noticed the issue), I was satisfied with the support.
