You may do either. They have several different ways to pay. They have had a problem with some autopays on specific CC, but Paypal autopay is always an option.

However.... you should always make a note to check to make sure the payment was made. Failing to make an autopay will get you suspended. (Even if you don't notice the autopay failed)

You should be able to tell your status by checking modern bill (your billing account). It clearly tells you if invoices have been paid or are open.

You should get an email. Make sure your billing email is at Gmail or Yahoo. Don't put it on your main domain. If you do something stupid and get suspended for a billing problem, they will not be able to email you once they suspend your domain!!! (Which happens at the same time they suspend you).

That should never happen, but if it does, its nice to know about it right away! That also goes for your support emails, use gmail for that. If your server is down, you can still send and receive support emails.

It didn't work properly for me. I had the $ in my pp account, but they said it's empty, and would withdraw the money from my bank account instead, which took too long. Now i do the one-time payment thing with pp, that works.

On my side, I pay manually all invoices. As soon that I get one in my email box, I login into Modernbill at Hostgator and pay them right away.

Sometimes I pay with Paypal but usually it is with my credit card. Faster for me to put money on it to make sure the invoice will be paid right away. The only thing that bothers me is that I'm working with CAN$ so I need to take guess on how much it would me in US$. I end up putting too much each time.

Best Regards,

I just let them bill my cc monthly. I'm not sure, what's the benefit of paypal to most people over your CC?

Are you set to auto pay? I don't think they send invoices if you are.

We are set to pay auto and don't receive emails....unless a payment doesn't go through. With others receiving emails for manual payments you might want to look into it further.

It seems to be a problem with hotmail.com addresses as HG sales say invoices have been sent out

Does anybody else that uses an @hotmail.com address actualy recieve these?

I have seen nothing but problems with hotmail when trying to receive emails. I found that composing a message and sending it from hotmail to the server you can't receive email from seems to fix it
