Authorize.net issues

Our credit card processor, Authorize.net, is currently offline.

This is preventing payment via credit cards from HostGator, including automated billings (batches) and manual payments. Customers wishing to sign up with or pay their bills can still use PayPal, but credit card payments will not go through until Authorize.net comes back online.

We are working with the compnay to get this resolved as fast as possible, but since it is their servers that are down, there is not a lot we can do. They are aware of the issues and working on resolving them.

We have some additional information from Authorize.Net's twitter account about the authorize.net outage :

Initial update :
"We are down due to a fire at our primary data center in Seattle. We are working to restore services, but no ETA at this time."

Second Update :
"The backup data center was impacted too. Don't have info as to why. The team is solely focused on getting us back up for now."

Approximately two hours ago, we were able to start accepting credit card payments again. If you continue to have problems paying with a credit card, please let us know.
