So I'm confused at how this ASP setup thing works. Aparently ASP is not automatically loaded on a server correct? So you must request that ASP be added to an account or domain?

I requested this and was directed to this page: http://www.hostgator.com/resellerasp.php

So does this mean that ASP is not free with a reseller account but must be purchased separately? And if so, judging by how the page asks for space and bandwidth, would a site setup like this be managed separately from the main WHM panel?

I understood that ASP was simply included just like PHP, Perl, etc.
This makes it a little confusing to get someone setup with ASP.

Please explain.

Thanks

It's chillisoft asp which is the best that can be used on linux / costs money.

So rather then have it on all servers since out of every 1000 sites like one person requests it we have a server dedicated to chillisoft asp.

Yes it would be managed separately. Hope that clears it up!

Thanks.

So does this special server have PHP and MySQL as well, or just Chillisoft? ie. can I have a site with both PHP and ASP scripts accessing MySQL databases?

Also - if it's managed separately, is there a separate WHM panel or something to manage it?

Thanks
