ok i script i want to use needs Apache with Mod_rewrite enabled.does hostgator shared server's have this installed?
And is it true, that scripts that need Apache can only have a maximum of 25 similtanous connections? Does that mean only 25 people can be online at a time OR does it mean only 25 people can click on the same button at a time? |

You have and are posting soooo many questions that can be better and quickly answered by the live support. I urge you to use them first and come to the forums if they can't help you or you have involved questions that involve experience.
HostGator does have apache and mod_rewrite so you are set. If you set up the script you would know this. |

You could also try searching...I bet since January, 20 threads have concerned the 25-connection definition.

I'm sure I've explained the 25 connection limit 50 times this year alone.

Only 50? That's the understatement of the century...50 is closer to how many threads daabomb2002 opened today.
