More than likely your site is hitting a new mod_sec rule that needs to be white listed.

I haven't noticed any outage on my sites which were due to be upgraded tonight?

I've already advised my customers of the outage time - please let us know if this has been rescheduled (and give us time to let our customers know)

I apologize, there were issues which prevented the migrations from taking place at 10:00pm. I am starting the migrations now and they should be complete in the next hour and a half.

Thanks guys, Great job as usual!
It was also nice to be informed in advance. This avoided waking up on a monday morning (Europe time) to find sites down and not knowing why!
I could let my clients know in advance what to expect.

Hey,

I've noticed a lot of chatter in this thread regarding the SecFilterEngine and Joomla. I also have this turned on for some other scripts like ZenPhoto.

My question is not whether the whitelist will be enabled as it sounds like you have that under control. I need to know what I will need to do when I add a new site to my reseller control panel that would have otherwise required the SecFilterEngine within the old configuration? For any new installation of Joomla or ZenPhoto, will I need to make a support request to be whitelisted? This would certainly not be a preference. Perhaps it could somehow be worked into CPanel hostgator utilities???

This used to be the "fix" to several issues between HostGator and these scripts and I would just like to know what the new SOP will be.

Thanks,

Joe

We are actively working on an unbranded version of our shared theme which will allow you make these kinds of changes without contacting support. For now however you will need to ticket us whenever a whitelist is needed. The good news is we will respond to you within an hour two and get it lined out for you.

Hopefully we will have the unbranded theme ready before the new year and you can make these changes and many more all on your own.

Hi There:

Back in October when Vanquish was upgraded from php & mysql 4 to version 5, one of the ecommerce sites that I host began to malfunction. It turns out the shopping cart (Digishop) did not like version 5 and as soon as the .htaccess file was changed to v4 everything worked fine. As of Monday (when Vanquish was again upgraded), the product photos on the same website (wildplumonline.com) are now not showing up. The .htaccess file has been again corrected but still the problem persists. Any suggestions as to what to do next would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks - Kevin

As it turns out the problem was server side as the recent server update caused the site to hit a new rule in mod_security which was blocking the images due to it thinking it was a hack attempt, when it was really not. The domain was whitelisted in mod_security for the specific rule that it was triggering which took care of the problem...go figure!

I'm glad we were able to get that fixed for you!

I'm scheduling blazer, all of our SEO servers and a few of our shared boxes that were missed for Sunday the 14th. I'll be emailing clients tonight.
