Why should they? ThePlanet has worked pretty well for them and specializes in data operations.

HG is the planets largest customer and I doubt the service could get any better even if they had there own data centre

iaksge, what do you think an HG datacenter could do for you that the current setup doesn't?

The only thing I can thing of is better dedicated server prices.

Actualy there overheads would increase dramatically and the end result would most likely be more expensive dedicated server prices

I know there have been rumors of this happening in the past, and Brent is the final decision maker on doing something like this, but as a previous poster said The Planet has worked out very well for us and the costs of building a datacenter are pretty astronomical. Maybe when we get much larger and Brent sees a need to do this it could happen, but right now I'm hedging my bets that we're just going to continue doing what we've been doing since it's working out great for us.
