Anyone Tried VPS with Plesk ??

Just now i saw HostGator is offering Plesk control panel free of cost (1st year only) to the VPS Packages.

Anyone tried it ?? How it is ?? Is it equal to WHM ??

I am using Plesk in Windows and feel like its a weird... Please share your experiences. Bcos the HG's deal is very good. For the 1st year its free and after that only$5 per month.

I don't like it. Perhaps I am partial because I have always used cPanel/WHM. WHM/cPanel feels like I have a lot more control over my server. Also branding cPanel is easy. I do not know what branding is like on Plesk.

One of the differences if you read the review article above is that Plesk works on Win and Linux. That's a plus.

Some of my clients are with other hosting companies and it drives me nuts when I have to use Plesk. Maybe it's their server setup but I always run into PHP issues, etc.

But I am a bit of a noob and don't have a ton of experience with the two.

Fine Guys, so i am not going to take risk with Plesk. I am already suffering a lot with the Plesk on my Windows Dedicated.
