Default Anyone here know php n mysql stuff well?

Anyone here know php n mysql stuff well?

I don't wanna bug support with this as it not really what they do.
Im moving my fourm here, old domain was viragotech.com new domain is viragotechforum.com

I have moved the forum folder and the DB.
I have got the config.php file set up right now.

But I cann't find the setting in the DB which changes the domain used.
I have gotten into php_ config in the DB but all it has is site name settings. Which don't help or make the forum work. Thing is still configed for the old domain name. The forum is still up on the old host and even it does not have the domain setting in the DB but in the CP of the forum the very first setting is domain name.

Have done the support forum for the forum software but all suggestion there have been done.

Maybe off chance someone here dealt with similar.
Its a phpBB2 forum with Intgeramod

Can kinda see what I mean here, in CP for forum first setting is the domain name but in the DB there is no settin in the config table.

I have searched n searched but can't find the right place in the DB to change the domain name so it works right.

sorry for ramblin n repeatin myself

I know this ain't the right place but I have asked several forum mods but they will not upgrade my forum account to get into the members section to ask questions in the right place so Ill post them here till then.

Found it in that php_config table but it does not display when you browse, you can only find it with a search. Though it still don't work. up mud creek.

In that screen shot you posted, you still have the old domain entered in the domain name and site name fields. What happens when you change those fields to the new domain name?

Why are you trying to change the domain? Just for display purposes right? If so, that setting you're showing should do it. Otherwise, as long as the database=localhost the database should work fine no matter what domain you use to access it (or even if accessing it by IP).

that pic was just to compare, old site to new as the new one would not load the CP in the forum software. I ended up finding the setting I needed by searching the DB. some reason the setting I needed to find is hidden when you browse, you must search.

Well I need to do a test move of the forum. I hate to jump ship and move everything and find out things arent better. So I came up with a new domain to test on. And so far HG is great.

BUt it ende up being a problem with my config.php

see when you set up a new DB here it spits out code for that DB in the CP.

well I was trying to inject that code into the config.php, instead of editing the original code with my DB name n passwords......

all is well now
