Default Any x86_64 servers in store?

Hi,
I'm a happy hostgator customer since 6 months or so. Good uptime, fast servers, friendly staff (that I don't need too often ), .. what does one need more?
-> An x86_64 server maybe!

According to the documentation I read, the courrier IMAP (which is the one used on our server) can only support quota up to 2GB in 32bit platforms. Now that x86_64 servers become a commodity and that 2Gb mail quota aren't that huge anymore, does any know of a possibility to run on an 64 bit platform?

Thanks in advance,
Bruno

ask sales @ hostgator.com for a quote, they'll arrange it if possible.

as its only hostgator sales staff who can provide such a option, peer forum members don't have a quote on this before.

I'm not sure that is true, as I have a 10gb quote on an account and it is working fine. I believe the 2gb limit is for downloading files. If you have a single email that is 2gb, I suggest you find a better solution

See e.g.

Yes, you can put a higher value in the cpanel quota, but my guess is an int overflow will give you an actual quota that is lower. Eg a quota value of 3gb will likely give you an actual quota of 1Gb.
