I am shocked - 1 database transfer requested, hostgator transfers them all

A recent request was made to transfer a database and its user to another hostgator users account, you transfered all of my cpanel databases, db users, emails and files to his account, this really annoyed off, he could copy anything, any of the database or hack any of my sites with the database/password data. I am having to change everything, you are wasting my time.
Please do not transfer any of my databases again. I expect you to rectify this mistake now and also your humble apologys for this giving out my private data. I was considering upgrading my server but having second thoughts now after this complete and utter shambolic mistake by hostgator.

where is your response hostgator. I can't beleive that after this time you can't respond to such a vital issue. I think you are about to lose a good customer and a good affiliate unless you can respond telling me what you are going to do.

As an aside (not to justify HG's flub), any password data in a mysql database should obviously be one-way encrypted.

it is encrypted, hostgator support tickets are slow.

Did you try contacting them via live chat? or telephone?

I am only new to HG but I found that their response time to my tickets have been acceptable - even on my "low" priority tickets.

If you think HG is slow - you should see how slow Yahoo is...... they are SHOCKING!!!!!!

Why don´t you try to send a PM to any of the Gator Team here in the forum to look at your ticket, give them plenty of info and I am sure they will look at this very fast.

they still haven't appologiesed also my sites are all down today, which is crap considering there 99.9% uptime gurantee.

it seems is a general issue due to Cpanel upgrade. They are working on fixing it.
