I really wanted my first post here to be nothing but praise. I’ll go so far as to say my problem was part my lack of knowledge and part tech support. The problem I had was uploading my add-on domains. I spent HOURS trying all different combinations and could not get my first add-on site up. So I finally called tech support. The first techie obviously wanted to get me gone quickly and he did. The next techie had such a poor command of English that it took me no less than FIVE times repeating LETTER by LETTER my domain name. I’m sorry but "doobla-vee" is not the way we say "W" in English. I spent 16 minutes with him and got nowhere. Called again. Once again, someone whose English was not the greatest. More time getting nowhere, struggling to communicate. I emailed one of the support forums here and got more advice but none of it helped. I was told to read the info (as if I hadn’t done that numerous times) watch the little video they have — ditto. All I needed was for someone - when I ASKED about the directory — to just say : "public_html/add-ondirectoryname." THAT was the whole problem and I TOLD them that when I uploaded to public_html it overwrote my original site with the add-on. Is it that hard for a TECH person to then figure out to tell me "Don’t forget the "/youradd-ondirectory" after public_html? Sheesh! But in fairness I suppose it could be said I should have been able to figure that out — so I take some responsibility too. Also, I have noticed on three occasions so far that my site did NOT come up and my email did NOT work for a couple minutes. I have set my site as my opening page on the Web since I had so much trouble with my previous sever, GISOL.COM - the absolute worst you could ever find. One thing I will sat is that people here DO answer the phone which is more than I can say for GISOL.COM. I spent as long as 50 minutes on my speakerphone waiting for them to pick up - and no one ever did! So all is well now and I do hope it stays that way. And if it does, I will be back with the compliments I originally wanted to post here.

From midnight to 9am eastern time phone support is handled by Gary who use to be a dell manager. He's the only one of us that has an accent. Sounds like you kept calling and talking to him. We get about 3 calls a night during this shift. From 9am-12am day time we can get anywhere from 30-70+ calls. Me (Brent) and Ben handle this from m-f
Addon domains are tricky to support because people always ask where is my addon? We have no idea what name they created it as so we can only answer it's in the public html folder under whatever name you gave it. This is the answer you should have been given, I'm sorry if you were not.

I appreciate your reply and I regret that I did not write his name down , although I can tell you that I did call late at night, Pacific Coast Time. I tried my best to communicate and I did, in fact, tell him what the add-on folder name was. I think in my post I did a pretty good job of relaying what transpired and I still think that my suggestion of simply telling people they need to post to the public_html/ADD-ON DIRECTORY NAME folder could eliminate some communication problems. So far, the service seems fine. I have had no further problems uploading my other sites and have not noticed any down time either with the sites or my email. In fact, I am glad you wrote. I forgot to tell gisol.com to take a hike. Then I'll see if I get a credit. Ha ha. Truth be told, it's a relief to be done with that worthless group!

lol good luck with that refund. Your better off going straight to the chargeback route with them. I don't think they ever issue them.
public_html/ADD-ON DIRECTORY NAME were in the process of making a huge faq database I'll add that one in there. =)
